After about a day of deciding in the back, the admins have decided to push the 2nd WishJump for this month up to today since there's an ongoing 40 % discount sale on devwear (we ended up agreeing that we'd keep trying to purchase things during the sale XD)
We'll display one wish per month. One that will require quite a bit of work. We'll all work together to grant that wish. Remember, you don't need to completely grant to help. In fact, that's what we're encouraging. You can help, little by little. Each helper will be rewarded. Here's our wish:

Skyler looked up and saw Kyle standing next to his locker, and he couldn’t help but smile at the sight of his tutor.
“Yeah, just let me grab my books,” he said, picking a few textbooks out of his locker before standing up. “Alright, I’m ready.”
The two started walking towards the school lunchroom, side by side. They had agreed to study during lunch today, as they normally did.
“Did you get your report card?” Kyle asked, looking over at Skyler.
“Yeah,” Skyler said with a small nod.
“How was your math grade?”
“A little better,” Skyler said with a shrug, remembering the “B+” on his report card. “I’m not failing if that’s what you’re asking.”
“Really?” Kyle asked, looking surprised. “I would have thought with all those good test scores you would have done better.”

It's hard to think of
because we don't know
where to look for it. Faith
can be found in an infinite
number of places
with a different form that
never repeats.
It might be in the gray eyes
of a pale-skinned, blonde haired
boy that you see sitting in church
every Sunday, or you might even
see it in the brown-eyed and dark-
skinned international student
that you sit beside in your
management class. Don't worry,
I'm still asking the same question
you are: What does faith actually
look like? Like I said, it has many
forms that are never the same. I
only asked because it was asked to me
only just a few days ago. All I could think
of at the moment was a woman being able
to find color in the darkest of places. She
didn't find light because she already had it
inside her. That's a pretty image to put
faith to; being so filled with light that you
don't ever have to look for it.
A monologueDear student that is with me now in my final hour, you cannot even begin to fathom how I feel at this moment. I wish that I could say that I am happy to have someone with me but I cannot because I do not know happiness. You see, I have lived my entire life at a distance from the world and my readers with an attitude of indifference. I do not regret such a life but it was also not my choice to live in such a way.
Within me are a number of images that tell a story of indifference. That’s right, I am a narrative poem that written in such a way as to show a story while showing no real emotion of my own. My poet used such beautiful images but when humans read me they feel nothing. I remember times when I grew weary of this tone of indifference about me.
Alas, what I carry with me is a wonderful thing that I enjoy ever so much to look over again and again but I also wonder why my poet made her decisions. The fire written within me was quite a sight, do not misunderstand, but it was a c
January ShowersIt rained last week,
a steady rhythm that
beat against the ground,
a blue breath of wetness.
A somber gray day
that tasted like fog and
warmed my chilled bones.
Wet concrete became a mirror
for everyone that cared to look.
Naked oaks reached up in celebration
while their roots pulled them down.
Then it started to get cold and
my bones were once again frozen.
It was no longer dark and gray,
but rather bright and white with
a wind that snaked between
buildings and bit you.
But the blanket of snow
with small rabbit tracks
was a refreshing sight.
I was more partial to the
rare and wet shower, but
the cold ones are just as nice
as long as I’m inside.

not shoes so I could feel the
grass between my toes.
I grabbed at butterflies and
