Notice to Current Members: Winter Cleaning!

Journal Entry: Sun Nov 11, 2012, 11:39 AM

We will be performing a clean-up of the wishlists over the next couple of weeks. The clean-up will be done by December 1st. This clean-up is to fix the lists so that they are back in alphabetical order, so that wishes are appearing in the correct categories, to remove wishes from banned, deactivated and inactive accounts, to update the lists in accordance with our rules (account activity will be reviewed for every single deviant on the lists) and to ensure the database is fully up-to-date to accomodate a highly anticipated December event.

If you have any questions or concerns, please leave a comment on this journal and the admins responsible for the winter clean-up will answer as soon as they have time.

just dropped by to notify that i'm not "inactive"... i'm just on and will still be on hiatus because of school. i drop by once in a while to check some messages, but i'll probably be truly back on March. maybe a few visits during the Christmas break, but yeah... i hope you don't consider me "inactive" ^^;

The current cleanup has been completed but if another one is realized in January & you've been inactive then you'll be removed (you can just note the group when you come back, your account will be checked & it'll be re-added)

aww, why? :( my wish is points anyway, so if you send it to my account even if i'm inactive, nothing will be lost :( coz if you remove me and i have to re-wish, the chance of wish granting becomes less :(

The point of removing it is so that someone else could have a chance at getting their wish granted; there's no official garantee on how long you would be gone due to the large amount of time that would have passed (many of the wishes that were removed from inactive accounts during this clean up were from people who claimed that they were going to be gone for a month & never returned). Anyways, everyone's chances at getting their wish granted are equally as random as the next.

what if i come back on December and start doing stuff and all, which last until New Year perhaps? would that be considered "inactive" by the end of January?

It depends on when the next cleanup is specifically & the amount of activity that appears. The rules apply to everyone & no one will be given special preference (keep in mind that there's more possible reasons to be removed from the lists as well).

I know Spring cleanings are in vogue, but it seems that eveyone has been re-organizing their profiles/galleries/groups latelly. Maybe it's something on the air :)
I'm glad you're taking your time to do this. I'm sure you have enough people helping with this but otherwise I'm glad to help.
